21,000 Peterbilt, Kenworth trucks recalled due to potential door latch, seat belt defects
Paccar, parent company of Peterbilt and Kenworth, has issued two recalls for more than 21,000 Kenworth and Peterbilt model trucks for potential defects related to the door latch assembly on some trucks and the seat belt assembly on others.

Equipment Editor Jack Roberts took a natural gas powered Pete for an a-typical test drive in Vancouver, where the truck was responsible for lugging 140,000-pound flatbed doubles – a “bi-train,” as the Canadians call it – into the Cascade Mountains.
