Ohio-based heavy equipment operator James Green hunts down the inspiration for his late fatherâs 1971 Autocarâs paint scheme in a 1980 Overdrive issue, and donates his grandfatherâs 1974 Diamond Reo, his final truck, to the Iowa 80 trucking museum. Remembering Eddie Karwaski of former Penn. small fleet Apple House Trucking
Karwaski passed a year ago this past Tuesday, Feb. 26, says his daughter. Apple House Trucking closed in 2007 as the recession took hold, after having grown to a height of around 50 trucks in the early 1990s. Earlier than that, its distinctive blue/gold/white paint scheme was featured twice in Overdrive.
