Love’s opens new store in Arkansas

Love’s Travel Stops opened its first location of 2018 recently in Alma, Ark., off of I-49. The company has announced it plans to open 40 new stores this year.

The new store is the company’s third along I-49 and its 12th in the state. It offers truckers 55 truck parking spaces, a Love’s Truck Tire Care center, three showers, Chester’s Chicken and Subway restaurants, laundry facilities and more.

Missouri-based Gary Jones bought the truck in December from its original owner, Arizona-based Dean DeSantis. Jones gave it his own flavor while still respecting the work done to it by DeSantis.
