I’ve been a driver for 28 years and I’ve seen a lot of changes in me and the industry. I just wanted to write a song that reflects how older drivers may feel. And a message to younger drivers about what it feels like if you don’t balance your life during your career. I love trucking. But if I could do it over, I would give more to my family. It’s an important message and I appreciate the opportunity to get it out there.
