The National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence awarded the Blue Seal of Excellence to Joplin Petro, located off Exit 4 on Interstate Highway 44 and state Highway 43 in Joplin, Mo.
The program identifies repair facilities with a large percentage of ASE-certified professionals. Joplin Petro is the only heavy truck repair facility in the TravelCenters of America and Petro Stopping Center chains to receive the recognition.
The Joplin Petro:Lube was awarded the Blue Seal of Excellence in July 2009 with 80 percent of its service technicians having at least one ASE classification. The facility also has eight ASE Master Technicians on staff and four service writers who are ASE certified.
