Western Express Inc. orders 2010 DD15-equipped Cascadias

Western Express Inc. ordered 900 Cascadias equipped with 2010 Detroit Diesel DD15 engines featuring BlueTec emissions technology, Portland, Ore.-based Freightliner truck maker announced.

Based in Nashville, Tenn., Western Express provides dry van, flatbed, dedicated and brokerage truckload transportation deliveries.

The carrier has agreed to buy nearly 2,800 trucks over three years, said Wayne Wise, president and chief executive officer for Western Express.
