Marten Transport raises layover pay

Marten Transport increased its layover pay to drivers $100 per day, the Mondovi, Wis.-based carrier announced.

In a recent driver wages survey, the National Transportation Institute rated the carrier as having one of the nation’s best total compensation packages.

In the last two years, the carrier has opened new terminals and expanded its regional network, the company said in a written statement. A new terminal is scheduled to open in Phoenix this summer.
