Stevens orders 500 aerodynamic Kenworth T700s

Stevens Transport has ordered 500 aerodynamic Kenworth T700s equipped with 400-hp Cummins ISX engines, the Kirkland, Wash.-based truck maker announced.

The tractor is certified in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s SmartWay program, said Kenworth Chief Engineer Preston Feight. Stevens, a refrigerated carrier based in Dallas, ordered 75-inch aerodyne sleepers as well for the tractors.
