Heavy truck tax form due

The deadline to file the federal Heavy Vehicle Use Tax, Form 2290, is Aug. 31.

This year the IRS won’t send out renewal notices as in past years.

The form is required to be in the same name as the truck owner and under the owner’s Federal Tax ID number.
