Zernicke driver named October Trucker Buddy

Zernicke Trucking company driver Chris Winkler was named October Trucker Buddy of the Month, Trucking Buddy International Executive Director Randy Schwartzenburg announced.

Winkler volunteers in fourth and fifth grades at Folk Elementary School in Madison, Wis., as part of the outreach’s efforts to help increase students’ achievement in math, social studies and language arts.

Trucker Buddy International nonprofit started in 1992 and is sponsored by Daimler Truck Products and includes Freightliner Trucks, Western Star Trucks and Detroit Diesel Engines.
