The host of the online radio trucking program “Dispatch Me Home” is starting an online network of the same name with additional music and other programming. The first show, launched Monday, will re-stream again today at 10 a.m. CST, says host Big Al Weekley.

The network is based at Dispatch Me Home Radio. Weekley produces the network with Bruce Wieser, known as Mayor Bandit, the founder of the existing trucker social website, Dispatch Me Home.

The expanded format will include trucking news and feature stories, live interviews with trucking industry experts and celebrities, such as upcoming artist Tony Justice.

New programming includes the show, “Under The Hood,” featuring hosts Shannon Nordstrom and Russ Evans, Sunday morning gospel music and re-plays of old-time radio broadcasts. Soon host Karen Berka’s “Branson Radio Live” online and on-the-dial radio show will be added to the lineup.

Weekley and his wife, Bonnie Weekley, aka Queen B, will continue to target the show to truckers and fans of bluegrass and classic country music.

“We hope that you will enjoy your day, your week, and your long haul while listening to the memories and the great programming we have put together for your pleasure,” says Big Al, who runs long-haul in addition to singing and songwriting.
