Jacobson purchases fleet of Mack Pinnacles

Mack Trucks recently announced that Jacobson Companies has purchased 139 day cabs and 120 sleepers, a total of 259, Mack Pinnacle on-highway commercial vehicles. A third-party logistics service chose the truck because of the fuel economy offered by the Pinnacle model, as well as the safe and comfortable in-cab driver environment. The trucks, which are equipped with Mack ClearTech MP8 445-hp engines, were distributed to Jacobson locations throughout the U.S. The model’s aerodynamic design includes a sloped hood to maximize visibility and an ergonomic wraparound dash that places all switches and controls within driver reach.
