United Sugars awarded Dart Transit Company its prestigious Dry Van Carrier of the Decade award at United Sugars’ 10th annual transportation conference in August.
Dart was selected for its exceptional commitment to service and performance.
Over the past 10 years, Dart has hauled over 40,000 loads of sugar with only 68 customer complaints. In the last three years only three complaints were made. “Dart sets the bar high, just like we like it,” said Darla Willoughby, business analyst at United Sugars.
For the fifth year in a row, Dart also received an award from Great West Risk Management for Safety and Operational Excellence. The award is based on Dart’s loss results, prompt and fair claim settlement practices, timely reporting of serious claims to Great West, innovative loss prevention programs, and demonstrated operational excellence in 2009.
