Detroit Diesel to honor truckers

Truckers may tour the Detroit manufacturing plant, have lunch and get free merchandise as part of a driver appreciation promotion for August, Detroit Diesel Corp. announced.

CDL holders should sign up 48 hours in advance and can register at Detroit Diesel.

Detroit Diesel’s facility manufactures the DD13, DD15 and DD16 engines and recently won the 2011 Michigan Green Leader Award from the Detroit Free Press.
