Michelin North America announced a $73 million (CDN) project investment at its Waterville, Nova Scotia truck tire plant. Michelin believes the investment will create approximately 50 new jobs in the Annapolis Valley.
The Michelin Waterville Plant will improve equipment and increase production capacity over the next four to five years. The project will include installation of new manufacturing technologies and will include a 3,000 sq. meter assembly building expansion. Hiring for positions will be ongoing as the project develops.
