Epes ups independent pay

Epes Transport System, of North Carolina, announced an increase in pay for many of its independent contractors. Effective February 3, 2013, pay for independent contractors will increase 2 cents per mile to $0.92 per mile. The company’s northeast premium pay will increase an additional 10 cents per mile beginning March 3, 2013. Northeast independent contractors will have the opportunity to make $1.02 per mile plus fuel surcharge.
