In 1998, Morris’ husband died, and after several years she realized it was time to find a career outside of her art degree in fashion design. Looking to support herself and her daughter, she took up truck driving, which she says has “completely changed my life for the better.” She hauls “anything that goes in a dry van” over the road in her white 2012 Peterbilt 386.
