Celadon buying 1,500 new tractors

Celadon Trucking this month announced it will be buying 1,500 new tractors, consisting of Kenworth T680 tractors from Paccar, along with some LoneStar and ProStar models from International.

Kenworth T680 tractors from Paccar as well as LoneStar and ProStar models from International. The Kenworths will be used by the company’s Expedited team operations, the LoneStar models by the Lease Purchase division and the ProStar tractors will refresh the company’s core driving fleet.

Today, the Semi-Stow truck parking/terminal facilities company, with sites across the U.S. South, West and elsewhere, rebranded as Outpost. The move follows an infusion of investment and plans to expand its network of sites short-term.
