A new season of the long-running “Ice Road Truckers” series following a rotating cast of far-northern haulers in competition on northern Canada’s and (occasionally) Alaska’s frozen roads makes its debut this Sunday on the History Channel at 9 p.m. EDT.
David Hollis of TruckersNews. com details the season’s adjustments from its last, with a cast that includes both new and familiar faces.
Season 9, Hollis notes, was filmed in Manitoba, Canada, and picks up where 8 left off in some ways, with (spoiler alert) Lisa Kelly accepting Darrell Ward’s offer to join a new venture.
