With continuing bridge work downtown in Nashville, Tenn., all I-40 traffic will be re-routed around the inner loop portion from the I-40/I-65 split west of downtown to the south split. The closure with be in place Friday at 8 p.m. through 6 a.m. Monday morning, Tennessee Department of Transportation officials say.
Detour signs around the closures on four area interstate highways will be in place, TDOT says.
