LinkeDrive’s PedalCoach appUSA Truck, one of the country’s largest carriers, has installed LinkeDrive’s PedalCoach driver coaching mobile app in its company trucks and is adding it to the company’s pay-for-performance program to encourage drivers to stay more fuel efficient.
The app provides real-time feedback to drivers on how they are driving, shown with a red-yellow-green interface. Adding that to USA Truck’s pay-for-performance program allows drivers to be paid on their ability to meet certain goals related to performance and safety, the carrier says. Drivers earn “points” for optimal behaviors and patterns.
Fleets can use the app to access driver and truck analytics to track trends, compare drivers, assess differences in truck models and evaluate regional and seasonal differences in performance, according to LinkeDrive.
