Kenworth and Bendix announced recently that the Bendix Wingman Fusion collision mitigation system is now available as a factory-installed option on Kenworth T680 and T880 Class 8 trucks.
Bendix Wingman Fusion integrates and advances a suite of Bendix safety technologies – radar, camera, the vehicle’s brake system, and SafetyDirect by Bendix CVS – into one system.
The system includes features like collision mitigation via autonomous braking, lane departure warnings, stationary vehicle braking and overspeed alert and action.
