Two fundraisers to benefit St. Christopher Truckers Fund ongoing this month

Updated Aug 7, 2018

Truckers have multiple opportunities in the month of August to donate to the St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund.

The SCF provides assistance to truck drivers who are suffering from financial hardships due to medical problems. Assistance may be in the form of direct payment for mortgage/rent, utilities, vehicle payments, insurance, prescriptions and/or some medical procedures.

Three truck stop chains – TA-Petro, Sapp Brothers and Coffee Cup Fuel Stops – will be participating in the 2018 Band Together for St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund.

Throughout the month of August, drivers can make donations at Sapp Brothers and Coffee Cup Fuel Stops. From Aug. 15 through Sept. 30, truckers can make donations at TA-Petro truck stop locations to benefit SCF. Those who make $1 donations will receive a wristband, and those who make $5 donations will receive an SCF keychain or window cling. The keychains and window clings will only be available at TA-Petro locations.

Additionally, the RoadPro Family of Brands has started a GoFundMe fundraiser with a $10,000 donation goal throughout August. Everyone who donates through the GoFundMe will be entered to win a grand prize, which includes a Yeti cooler filled with RoadPro gear.
