Mack Trucks is showing its support for breast cancer awareness by displaying a pink Mack Anthem at its headquarters in Greensboro, North Carolina. The truck, nicknamed the “Pink Lady” by employees, features a pink painted Mack wordmark across its grille. Mack developed the one-of-a-kind truck in support of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual campaign conducted each October to increase awareness of one of the most common cancers among women in the U.S.

Love’s opens six new Truck Tire Care, Speedco locations
Love’s Travel Stops has opened six new 24-hour Love’s Truck Tire Care Centers and Speedco locations, offering tire, lube and mechanical services. The new locations are:

•Love’s Truck Tire Care – Lake Wales, Florida
•Love’s Truck Tire Care – Sioux Falls, South Dakota
•Love’s Truck Tire Care – Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania
•Love’s Truck Tire Care and Speedco – Hazen, Arizona
•Love’s Truck Tire Care and Speedco – Hampshire, Illinois
•Love’s Truck Tire Care and Speedco – Atkinson, Illinois

I-10 EB closing west of Phoenix this weekend
Arizona DOT crews will close a section of I-10 Eastbound this weekend as crews pave sections of the interstate. The interstate will be closed between 67th and 43rd avenues from 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4, through 4 a.m. Monday, Oct. 7.

ADOT suggests drivers traveling east beyond Phoenix consider taking State Route 85 south from Buckeye to Gila Bend, then traveling east on I-8 to reconnect with I-10 at Casa Grande.

Additionally, the westbound I-10 right lane between 43rd and 59th avenues will be closed between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6, and the right two westbound lanes will be closed between 35th and 43rd avenues from 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, through 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 7.
