Fleets of all sizes invited to participate in annual compensation survey
The American Trucking Associations’ annual driver compensation survey is soliciting responses from private, for-hire and mixed fleets of all sizes about their driver compensation programs for its annual driver compensation survey report. “The data you provide will help us create the most comprehensive study on compensation by driver type at the national and regional levels,” the association notes. For participants in the survey, the final $1,000 report is available for $100. The association adds that fleet participant details are kept strictly confidential, and data is used in an aggregated way only: “If requested, a confidentiality agreement can be arranged.”

Papé Kenworth earns 2019 Kenworth Dealer of the Year award
The PapĂ© Kenworth network of sales and service centers in Alaska, Washington, Oregon and California were recognized at the annual Kenworth Dealer Meeting recent for the second time in five as the truck marker’s annual Dealer of the Year.

“PapĂ© Kenworth’s success is driven by great Kenworth heavy and medium duty trucks and our employees’ daily, determined focus to take excellent care of customers in our new truck, parts and service operations,” said Dave Laird, PapĂ© Kenworth president. “We especially thank our customers for their continued support.”

The dealer was noted for exceptional performance across excellence categories, with a 25 percent heavy duty and 16 percent medium duty sales share, also ranking high among dealers in facility investments, Paccar MX engines retail and parts sales growth, PacLease operations, and Paccar Financial sales share.
