Volvo recalls more than 15k trucks for potential brakes issue
Volvo Trucks North America is recalling certain model year 2020-2021 VAH, VHD, VNL and VNR trucks for an issue with the brake pedal, according to National Highway Traffic Safety Administration documents.
The recall includes approximately 15,156 units in which the die cast pedal plate may break at one of its attachment points, possible resulting in the brake pedal dislodging.
Volvo will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and replace the pedal plates if required. Owners can contact Volvo Trucks customer service at 1-800-458-1552 with recall number RVXX2004. NHTSA’s recall number is 20V-536.
