Spot rates surge for reefers, flatbeds as diesel jumps another 30 cents

The fuel hike brings the national average to the highest level since the summer of 2022, California approaching $7/gal. Rates for reefers and flatbeds surged themselves, more than enough to offset increased fuel costs by some estimates.
