Mack Truck hauls 800,000-lb generator vessel

Here’s an excerpt from a Mack Trucks video, shown to trucking journalists, about Northfield, Minn.-based Perkins Specialized Transportation Contracting’s haul of 800,000-lb. decommissioned generator vessels from a San Onofre, Calif., nuclear generating station to a Clive, Utah, disposal site. The job was so massive that it required three heavy-haul-spec’d Mack Titans in total – one in front of the nearly 300-foot long custom trailer and a pair of Titans behind the trailer.
