Con-way Truckload Recognizes Professional Driver for Reaching 4 Million Miles

Con-way Truckload, a full truckload carrier and subsidiary of Con-way Inc., recognized independent contractor Jon Smith for surpassing 4 million miles of professional driving for the company. Smith is the first independent contractor at Con-way to reach 4 million miles.

Smith, of Joplin, Mo., began as a company driver with Con-way Truckload in 1984 and transitioned to an independent contractor in 1996

Smith advised truckers to stay up-to-date on truck care and maintenance and read trucking industry and economic news.
