Matty Marie: Farm equipment hauling 379

John StricklandOwner-operator John Strickland of Emmett, Idaho, nicknamed his 2003 Peterbilt 379 Matty Marie because he liked the name. “I name everything,” says Strickland, who primarily hauls bins and farming equipment for the alfalfa seed industry. He purchased the Pete, powered by a Caterpillar C15 and an 18-speed transmission, from one of his lifelong trucking friends who retired.
