Phoenix-based Jim Zermeno’s 2007 Freightliner Classic is a jack of all heavy-haul trades. Zermeno hauls construction materials like copper, steel beams and pipes, as well as oil field equipment, axles, scissor lifts, oversized loads and more. “We have put chrome all over it,” he says, “in and out. Also, some wood cabinets.” He runs the truck in 15 states, running from California to Michigan and back.
