This year’s Shell Rotella Super Rigs, which is set for June 14-16 at White’s Travel Center in Raphine, Va., will feature a number of events for participants and attendees, including a truck parade, fireworks display, live music and more.

The theme for the 36th annual SuperRigs this summer is “Tribute to Toughness,” a nod to the working trucks that will participate in the annual truck beauty contest at the show. Owner-operators will compete for more than $25,000 in cash and prizes, and 12 drivers will be selected to have their trucks in the 2019 Shell Rotella SuperRigs calendar.

Judging for the truck show will take place between 7:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, June 14 and 15, and between 7:30 and 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 16. Trucks will be judged on exterior appearance, design, detail/finish, originality and workmanship. A total of 24 working trucks will receive awards during the show. Registration for participants is expected to open soon.

In addition to the truck show, a truck parade will take participants from White’s Travel Center to downtown Lexington, which will be followed by a fireworks show at the travel center. Local bands, DJs and musicians will be playing live throughout the three-day event as well. Australian singer-songwriter Jayne Denham will be performing live during the event, along with Tennessee-based trucker and singer-songwriter Tony Justice.

On-site amenities include a chrome shop, pharmacy, clean showers, restaurants, laundry, a shuttle service and more. A full event schedule can be found here.
