Chris Ransom drives this 2018 Peterbilt 389 flattop for JTF Trucking, which is owned by John and Tami Farnsworth out of Phoenix. The truck sits on a 280-inch wheelbase and sports a Cummins X15 with an Eaton-Fuller 18-speed and 3:25 rears. Ransom pulls a 53-foot Vanguard stainless steel reefer with sliding spread axle. Custom work to the truck – done by Rod Pickett at Pickett Custom Trucks – includes a bow tie visor, drop cab panels, flush-mounted rear deck plate, Dynaflex 8-inch stacks with Pickett elbows, air ride front end, 20-inch Valley Chrome front bumper and rear stainless light bar. Ransom primarily runs from California to Texas and backhauling produce to Texas, then frozen and other freight back to Arizona and California.
