Steph Lessard owns this 2015 Western Star 4900 that’s set up for the Canadian oil fields. The rig is powered by a 550-hp Detroit DD16 with an 18-speed and 46,000-pound rears. It also features a pneumatic blower. She currently hauls frac sand for CO3 Energy out of Medicine Hat, Alberta. She runs under the Chubby Ninja Inc. authority. Her “chubby ninja” is the 1-year-old Staffordshire Terrier, Angel, in the window in the photo above. Lessard says the rig pulls 30 metric tons of sand up and down the road all day.
