Walcott Truckers Jamboree set for 43rd year

The 43rd Walcott Truckers Jamboree is set to return July 14-16 to the Iowa 80 Truckstop in Walcott, Iowa.

The show will feature its annual lineup of events, including the Super Truck Beauty Contest, antique truck display, Iowa pork chop cookout, vendor exhibits, Trucker Olympics, two fireworks displays and more. It will also feature a 100th birthday party for the Iowa 80 Trucking Museum’s 1922 Walter Sno-Fighter.

Diamond RioGrammy Award-winning country music group Diamond Rio will perform during the 43rd annual Walcott Truckers Jamboree on July 15.

Show organizers have also announced Grammy Award-winning country group Diamond Rio will take the stage at the show Friday, July 15.

“You won’t want to miss the amazing performance from Grammy Award-winning group Diamond Rio,” said Heather DeBaillie, Iowa 80 Group’s vice president of marketing. “With their 22 Top 10 singles and multiple platinum and gold albums, they will have the crowd dancing all evening.”

Other musical acts that have been announced for the event include Dani Lynn Howe & Band; Kylie Frey; and Mo's Garage
