'Dollar Bill': Impressive 1982 Peterbilt 359 powered by Cat C18 marine engine
Owner-operator Todd Scruggs has owned the truck since 2012, but it was inoperable from the time he bought until he started its rebuild in 2023. After working on the truck during his downtime over two years, the rebuild is complete and the truck is going back to work.

The ELD-exempt rig is powered by a Series 60 Detroit with an 18-speed and 3.55 rears. 43-year veteran trucker Bobby Earl had been eyeing the unit for a couple of years before he convinced the previous owner to sell it.

Coupled with a Lohr head rack and stinger trailer, the car-hauling unit works within a 350-mile radius of Chattanooga, Tennessee. It features several custom touches, including the front bumper, fenders and visor, and 150 Dual Revolution lights.

Lois Yoder Trucking bought the 2013 Pete in 2024 and worked it for the year before pulling it off the road to touch it up and get it ready for the 2025 truck show season. The truck, originally built by A&A Stainless Steel, has picked up awards at multiple shows.
