Four generations of show-quality, long-hood Petes shine for Alabama fleet

Alabama-based small fleet owner David McKinney, a self-proclaimed "Peterbilt guy," has been trucking since the mid-1990s and today runs an 18-truck fleet. Here, four of the fleet's trucks are featured -- one each from the last four generations of long-hood Petes.

West Virginia-headquartered Patrick White has faced -- and overcome -- his share of adversity during a 25-plus-year trucking career. Sheer determination and willpower have brought him through not only tough economic times, but also personal difficulties might have driven others out of trucking entirely.
