Pilot Flying J sponsors triathlon

Pilot Flying J is sponsoring the Revolution 3 Triathlon on Oct. 14 in Anderson, S.C., as well as sponsoring 11 truck drivers from Truckers to Triathletes and Prime Trucking. Pilot Flying J’s training plan commenced with the Rev3 Triathlon in Portland, Ore., on July 8. For Anderson, S.C., Pilot Flying J has continued sponsoring the Truckers to Triathletes who have intensified their training from Portland, where they competed in an Olympic Rev (31.9 miles), to a Half Rev (70.3 miles) for Anderson. In addition to the T2T teams, Pilot Flying J will sponsor two relay teams and an individual athlete of long haul drivers from Prime Trucking, who will be driving their 18-wheelers directly to the Rev3 Triathlon site.

The Rev3 Triathlon will be at Darwin Wright Park on Lake Hartwell in Anderson, S.C. on Sunday, Oct. 14, starting at 7 a.m. The Truckers to Triathletes competing are John Schneidewind, Jason Stringer, Steve Johnson and Bret Wright. The Prime Truckers competing are Mario J. Abramson, Matthew Young, Jeff Schmid, David Calhoun and Matt Buchhanan, and the remainder of the team is Christopher Palmer and Diane Kehoe.
