Here’s to you, drivers!

Overdrive is giving a special nod to its readers this year in connection with National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, Sept. 15-21. We’ve produced a short video, “Headed home,” that recognizes the tough job drivers do.

The 2.5-minute video features images from Kim Reierson’s realistic photo book, “Eighteen: A look at the culture that moves us,” and Overdrive’s photo archive. 

Overdrive is also highlighting the week with our iLuvMyTrucker! promotion. Dozens of readers have submitted statements and photos about a special driver that they appreciate. You can read them — and submit your own — at iLuvMyTrucker.com.

The top 10 entries will receive iLuvMyTrucker! T-shirts. The winning entry will be featured online during the appreciation week and in the October issue of Overdrive.
