Penske Truck Rental/Logistics’ new driver

The folks at Penske Truck Rental and Penske Logistics have a new driver doing some hauling, so to speak, in their stable — he might well be familiar to the IndyCar fans among you.

None other than Helio Castroneves will wear the Penske Logistics/Truck Rental yellow for several races this season. Castroneves is in his 13th year with the Penske Racing organization, and off to a strong start this year, with a win and a top-five finish. Castroneves’ No. 3 car will be adorned with the yellow and blue at each of the races listed below.

This Sunday, April 29, he’ll run a Penske Logistics car in his native Brazil; the North American races will be for Penske Truck Rental.

Castroneves’ racing resume includes a total 26 wins, 102 top-five finishes and three Indianapolis 500 victories. In 2007, he was a contestant on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars,” capturing the Mirror Ball trophy.
