Turnage & Sons' size balancing act with organic bulk milk: Small Fleet Champ update
After growing the fleet to as many as 40 trucks, Robbie Turnage found balance right around 30 trucks to ensure equipment's maintained, drivers and customers taken care of. With time running out before the July 31 Small Fleet Champ entry deadline, the 2025 finalist noted change on that front. He never expected he'd haul milk from the Southeast to California.

EPA to end DEF derates, roll back emissions warranty reg
Instead of the truck derating toward shutdown in steps with a DEF fault, the rule proposes that the driver or machine operator would receive an audible or visible alert. The engine would operate normally. At once, longer required manufacturer warranties of emissions equipment will be eliminated, too.
