The Mistress: ’04 Peterbilt and a 550-hp Cat

Owner-operator Robert Winkelman of Hermann, Mo., hauls logs and barrel staves from New Florence, Mo., to Lebanon, Ky., in this 2004 Peterbilt equipped with a 550-horsepower Caterpillar C15 motor and a 13-speed transmission. Winkleman drives with his wife, Lisa, who rides shotgun. She nicknamed the truck The Mistress because Winkleman usually is driving or working on the rig.
