See previous videos in the series and all of the 30th anniversary coverage for Overdrive‘s Pride & Polish here.We are counting down the videos from the No. 30 to the No. 1 most-viewed Pride & Polish video leading up to the 2020 Pride & Polish competition at the Great American Trucking Show in Dallas, which will be held Aug. 27-29.
Up this week at No. 21 is California Dreamin’, a 2003 Peterbilt 379 and Great Dane reefer owned by Freddy Velasco, of Como, Texas. The video above was shot at the 2015 Pride & Polish at the Great American Trucking Show. It underwent a complete overhaul with a custom purple and “Creme Brulee” paint scheme.
It won second place in the Combo – 2003 and Older and the Paint – Combo classes at the 2015 GATS. At the 2016 GATS, the truck won Best of Show in the Working Combo class, as well as first place in Combo – Open, first place in Paint – Combo, and third place in Interior – Cab Only.
