Overdrive is holding a virtual Pride & Polish competition this year with photo submissions being accepted through midnight, July 21.
Up this week at No. 8 is Joe Regalado’s 2000 Peterbilt 379 and 2018 Armor Lite end dump combo, “Blue.” The truck, though with a different trailer, won the 2016 Pride & Polish National Championship in the Working Combo category.
In addition to the blue and silver paint job — and slight use of green trim — “Blue” sports suicide doors, custom interior upholstery and a few touches of one-off metal parts.
The rig at the time was powered by a 60 Series Detroit tuned up to 600 horsepower with an 18-speed and 3:55 rears.
