Raul and Roland Mendez won Best Limited Mileage Bobtail with their custom shop’s latest creation, Project One.

One way we are celebrating the 30th anniversary of Overdrive‘s Pride & Polish is by looking back at the 30 most-popular Pride & Polish show truck videos from our YouTube page.

We are running through the videos from the No. 30 to the No. 1 most-viewed Pride & Polish video. Overdrive is holding a virtual Pride & Polish competition this year with photo submissions being accepted through midnight, July 21.

Up this week at No. 6 is “Project One,” a radically-customized 1997 Peterbilt 379 built by Roland Mendez, co-owner of Triple R Diesel/Texas Chrome Shop in San Antonio, Texas. This video of the rig was shot at the 2011 Great American Trucking Show Pride & Polish.

Nearly everything on the truck from front to back was customized, including the trailer, which was made to match the rig. The truck picked up Best of Show in the Limited Mileage Bobtail category at the 2009 Great American Trucking Show Pride & Polish.
