David Pyle's 2007 Peterbilt 379

Pyle

David Pyle, of Floydada, Texas, owns this 2007 Peterbilt 379, which is powered by a 625-hp Cat C15 with an 18-speed Eaton and 3:55 rears. Custom paint and body work was done by Lone Star Truck and Body in Canyon, Texas. They completely disassembled the cab and sleeper down to the frame, which was stretched from 265 inches to 300 inches "for a better look and smoother ride," Pyle says. He also added Dynaflex 8-inch straight stacks, an Iowa Custom deck plate through the whole frame, a 12 Gauge Customs-fabricated rear bumper, and front air ride suspension. Additionally, 4 State Trucks built both 135-gallon fuel tanks and the 12-inch custom visor. Pyle is an owner-operator leased on with Severt of Columbia, out of Jacksonville, Florida. He mainly runs over-the-road from Florida to California each week, hauling chicken and fish out and bringing back fruits and vegetables.
