'Love this truck': John Murphy's 2009 Freightliner Cascadia

"Love this truck." Those are the words of owner-operator John Murphy about his workhorse 2009 Freightliner Cascadia. The rig is powered by a Detroit DD15 with a 10-speed Eaton-Fuller. It's put more than 1.3 million miles behind it to date.

Mark the day with the 2001 379 of owner-operator Patrick White, who suffered a broken leg in August, unable to work for a time. Today, he's back on the horse, and the Whites note they benefited from some help from lenders, but also "from a few close friends and our family. We are very grateful this year for sure," said Patrick's wife, Ashlyn. Here's to giving thanks, and a big thanks to all of you for who you are and what you do.
