FMCSA's emergency removals: Every CDL school shut down

The White House anti-fraud task force on August 31 announced a "whole of government" crackdown on CDL schools through the "Joint Task Force Crossroads of America" partnership.

As part of that effort, they announced the immediate, emergency removal of 110 CDL schools for graduating more than 10 drivers that later went on to get placed out-of-service for English language proficiency violations.

CDL school trade associations initially applauded the effort, and then it became apparent hundreds of the biggest schools were also sent notices of proposed removal
