Nearly 2,000 trucks placed out of service in Texas during Roadcheck inspection blitz
A total of 1,975 commercial vehicles — about 24 percent of those inspected — were placed out of service for a variety of safety violations. Issues with brakes and defective tires were among the most common infractions that led to out of service violations.

The return of the more extensive search options comes amid the agency’s work to restore the NRCME website after it was taken offline by FMCSA in December after an unidentified source tried to plant malicious software (malware) in the system.
