Debbie Desiderato is the owner-op behind the free app, launched within the last few months. She came to it with hopes of creating a way for herself and other truckers to save their notes about locations visited along their routes, chiefly nontraditional parking places but also plenty more, as sheâs found utilizing the app.

Walmart now owes truckers $60M in back pay, court rules
Roughly 840 members class members will receive compensation for earning less than minimum wage for rest breaks, layovers and pre-trip and post-trip inspections. A Jan. 25 order by the court overseeing the bumped up the sum of the total settlement to $60 million.

Walmart truckers land $55 million settlement for non-driving time pay
Walmart Transportation has been ordered by a federal jury to pay 850 current and former truck drivers a total of $55 million in back pay. Of note to truck operators, the company was ordered to pay $44.7 million for federally stipulated 10-hour off-duty periods.

Kevin Roper, the truck driver at the center of the fatal June 2014 tractor-trailer crash involving actor Tracy Morgan, has been indicted on the manslaughter and vehicular homicide charges brought against him in the aftermath of the crash, court records show.
